Our little corner of Dubai
Plan Your Visit to Kite Beach, Dubai
Kite Beach is a free public beach in Dubai’s Umm Suqeim area, with places to walk, eat and spend time by the sea. Find parking, check opening hours and facilities, and choose whether to add a Sole Mio sunbed or cabana.

Your beach day, at a glance
Is Kite Beach free to enter?
Yes. Entry to the public beach is free; you do not need a Sole Mio pass to visit Kite Beach. Bring your own beach essentials or book a sunbed or cabana for seating, shade and towels.
Parking, food, equipment hire and paid activities have their own charges. A Sole Mio beach pass covers your chosen seating and its listed amenities.
Kite Beach parking and directions
For Sole Mio, head to Kite Beach in Umm Suqeim 1, in front of the XDubai Skatepark. Use our map pin to find the right arrival point along the beachfront.
Public and private parking options are nearby. Check the operator, parking zone, tariff, payment instructions and time limit on the signs where you park. Parking is separate from your Sole Mio pass; allow extra time to find a space on weekends and holidays.
- By car: navigate to the Sole Mio pin, then follow the signs to your chosen parking area.
- By taxi: share the pin and ask for “Sole Mio, Kite Beach, in front of the XDubai Skatepark.”
- By public transport: use RTA’s Journey Planner or S’hail app for your starting point, travel time and final connection.
- From your hotel: ask the concierge whether a Kite Beach shuttle runs on your visit date and confirm the return time.

Kite Beach opening hours and swimming
Beach access, swimming times and business opening hours are different. Sole Mio beach day passes run from 9am to 6pm; that is the pass service window, not an opening or closing time for the whole public beach.
For shops and dining, Kite Beach’s published hours are listed below. Individual outlets may vary, so check with the venue if you are making a special trip.
- For swimming, follow the beach flags, posted notices and lifeguard instructions for the conditions and permitted areas on the day.
- For night swimming, use a designated night-swimming beach. Dubai Municipality identifies zones in Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3 and Umm Suqeim 1; this does not mean the whole Kite Beach shoreline is a night-swimming area.

Things to do at Kite Beach
Walk or jog beside the beach, watch the kitesurfers, play volleyball or explore the nearby XDubai Skatepark. Leave time for a meal and a pause by the sea.
Paddleboarding, kitesurfing and kayaking are available through watersports operators. Check the provider’s location, conditions, age requirements and equipment before booking. These activities cost extra and are not included in Sole Mio passes.

Kite Beach restaurants, cafés and food trucks
The beachfront has cafés, restaurants and food trucks for a quick drink, a snack or a longer lunch. Sea Level Café is one nearby option for coffee, juices, salads, sandwiches and gelato.
At Sole Mio, our team can take your order from partner cafés and deliver it to your sunbed or cabana. Choose from Sea Level Café or stone-baked pizza from Caffè Borbone. Delivery is from our partners; it does not cover every restaurant on Kite Beach.
Food is purchased separately from all Sole Mio passes. Regular and VIP guests also buy drinks separately; the Cabana Pass includes unlimited water and soft drinks.

Visiting Kite Beach with children or access needs
Sole Mio has stroller-friendly walkways and beach toys for family visits. Plan shade, drinks and breaks, and keep children under adult supervision throughout the day.
Children under 12 can join a Sole Mio booking without a lounger or towel at no charge. A child lounger and towel costs AED 80. A Cabana comfortably fits two people and accommodates up to four; contact us if you would like to arrange extra sunbeds nearby.
For wheelchair access or assistance, confirm the route from your parking or drop-off point to your seating before visiting. Stroller-friendly paths do not mean every route across the sand is accessible. Our team can help you plan your arrival.

Sunbed and cabana rental at Sole Mio
Make a day of it with your own place in the shade. Regular includes a lounger, umbrella and towels; VIP adds a premium oversized lounger in the first or second row. Cabanas offer shared shade in either of the first two rows.
Compare prices and inclusions, then choose your date and book directly. Free cancellation is available until 8am (Dubai time) on the day of your visit.
