Pack for the day you have planned
The useful beach bag is the one that matches your visit. A public beach outing needs your own comfort kit. A booked Sole Mio pass supplies the seating, shade and towels described in that product, so check the inclusions before carrying duplicates. Add separate equipment for any lesson or activity you have booked.
Start with the destination, the booking confirmation and the journey. Those three details tell you which entrance to use, what is already provided and how much you will be carrying from the drop-off or parking area.
The essentials for every visit
Keep the everyday items together in an easy-to-reach bag. Use a smaller pouch for your phone, keys and payment method so they do not disappear among towels. Pack sunscreen suited to you and follow its labelled directions; a hat, sunglasses and cover-up are also useful parts of a beach kit.
- Swimwear, a comfortable cover-up and footwear for the walk to the beach.
- Sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and drinking water for the journey.
- A change of clothes and a reusable bag for wet or sandy items.
- Your booking details, saved location and a charged phone.
- Only the valuables and payment methods you need for the outing.
Public visit or booked beach pass?
A public beach visit does not provide a reserved chair or umbrella. If you want those, arrange an available rental or select a beach pass before deciding what to leave at home. At Sole Mio, food delivery is a service; meals are separate unless the selected product explicitly includes them.
| Item | Public beach visit | Booked Sole Mio visit |
|---|---|---|
| Towel | Bring your own | Check the towels included for your booked guests |
| Seating and shade | Bring what is permitted or arrange a paid rental | Use the lounger, umbrella or cabana described in your pass |
| Food and drinks | Plan purchases or check destination rules | Check the menu and specific package inclusions |
| Activity equipment | Arrange with the activity provider | Still separate from your Sole Mio pass |
| Children’s kit | Bring each child’s essentials | Check whether the child booking includes a lounger and towel |
Extra items for a family beach day
Bring a spare set of clothes for each child, their usual beach items and the supplies you use for changing and snacks. A child joining without a dedicated lounger and towel will need a different arrangement from an adult with a pass. Decide where everyone will meet after using the facilities.
If travelling with a stroller, check the accessible route and consider the final stretch over sand. Keep the bag compact enough that one adult can manage the belongings while another looks after the children.
The last check before leaving
Confirm the destination is the one you intended, especially when a lesson and a beach booking use different meeting points. Review the forecast and local access information, and check any time-sensitive message from your operator. Save your return route rather than relying on a beach photo to remember the parking location.
At the end of the visit, check your seating area for small items and take your belongings and rubbish with you. Packing a simple wet bag makes the trip home easier.
