How do I start planning a beach birthday?
Start with your preferred date, adult and child guest numbers and the kind of celebration you want. A few friends sharing a beach day need a different arrangement from a party with catering, decorations and activities. Send those details to Sole Mio so the team can propose an appropriate setup.
The birthday service page offers reserved areas, cabanas and occasion options. A standard day-pass purchase should not be assumed to include a complete party package. Agree the event details before sending the final invitation.
How much does a beach birthday party cost?
Build your birthday plan around beach entry, then choose any catering, cake and decoration extras. The children’s birthday rate applies to guests under 13.
| Birthday option | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Kids under 13 | AED 80 per child | Birthday entry with a lounger, umbrella and towels |
| Accompanying adults — weekday | AED 130 per adult | Regular beach entry with a lounger, umbrella and towels |
| Accompanying adults — weekend | AED 150 per adult | Regular beach entry with a lounger, umbrella and towels |
| Optional catering | + AED 55 per person | A selection of pizzas, sandwiches and soft drinks; additional to entry |
| Decorations or themes | Quoted separately | Balloons, flags or a custom theme agreed with the team |
| Partner-bakery cake | The cake price only | No additional fee from Sole Mio for arranging the cake |
What should my birthday quote include?
Use the entry and catering prices above to start planning, then ask for an event summary covering your guest numbers and any agreed extras before you invite everyone.
- Preferred date, arrival time, setup time and the end of the reserved arrangement.
- Adult and child guest numbers, children’s ages, and the included sunbeds, umbrellas or cabanas.
- Decoration items, catering, cake arrangements and any agreed activities.
- The total price, payment or deposit schedule and charges for any extras.
- Guest-count changes, cancellation, rescheduling and weather arrangements.
Can I bring a cake or arrange food?
Yes. Bring your own birthday cake and let the team know in advance. We have a fridge to keep it chilled and a table for cake cutting. Tell us when you plan to bring or deliver the cake.
If you would like help choosing a cake, we can arrange one through our partner bakery. You pay only for the cake, with no extra fee from Sole Mio.
Optional birthday catering costs an additional AED 55 per person and includes a selection of pizzas, sandwiches and soft drinks. Confirm the number of guests you want to cater for and share any dietary requirements with the team.
Are decorations and themes possible?
Yes. Decorations such as balloons and flags, or a complete birthday theme, are arranged separately for an extra cost. Discuss the exact items, setup and price with the team.
For inspiration, we previously arranged a unicorn theme with inflatables, a unicorn cake and themed cutlery for an additional AED 2,500. A past pirate-themed party was arranged for an additional AED 1,500. These are examples from previous celebrations; your chosen theme will be quoted individually.
If you want to use your own decorator, agree supplier access and setup arrangements with Sole Mio in advance.
How should we arrange the seating and children?
Give the team the full group size and children’s ages. Ask how many loungers or cabanas the arrangement includes and whether everyone can sit together. Sole Mio’s Cabana page describes comfortable space for two and maximum capacity up to four; confirm the arrangement for your actual group.
Birthday entry for children under 13 is AED 80 per child and includes a lounger, umbrella and towels. Accompanying adults pay regular beach entry. Adults remain responsible for supervision. If you want games or another activity, agree who will run it and what is included; nearby watersports do not automatically form part of a birthday booking.
What about timing, deposits and weather?
Ask for a written event summary covering arrival, setup, food, any activity and the time the reserved arrangement ends. Confirm payment or deposit requirements and the rules for guest-count changes before committing to outside suppliers.
The team should explain the cancellation or rescheduling terms for the event, including how weather-related changes are handled. A custom party may involve more services than an ordinary beach pass, so check the applicable terms. Once confirmed, send guests the exact reception location and the details they need to arrive prepared.
